Silverwood – Croquembouche Set

The classic French dessert of Croquembouche (crunch in the mouth) or Pièce Montée (mounted piece) is traditionally served at French weddings and baptisms. This tower of choux buns in caramel or spun sugar is certainly a stunning creation that would be a spectacular centre-piece for any occasion or celebration.

It has tended to be the preserve of professional caterers with very expensive moulds or has involved you getting creative with cardboard and tape to cobble a cone mould together at home. Not any more though!

This fantastic set comes with the cone, top cap and dual-purpose base – for either a large or small Croquembouche. Simply build up and stick your choux buns together with caramel or spun sugar. The set includes full instructions and recipe. Don’t forget you can always cheat with frozen profiteroles and whip-up a stunning dinner party dessert in no time.
