Unlike traditional stand mixers, the Ankarsrum’s unique bowl-rotation design lets the dough do the work — kneading up to 5kg at a time without straining the motor or compromising on gluten development.

Powerful, Quiet, and Built to Last
At the heart of every Ankarsrum Original is an exceptionally quiet yet powerful 1500W motor, backed by a 7-year warranty. Continuous speed control and a built-in timer give you precise control over every mix, while a unique gear construction positioned directly under the bowl delivers the strength and stability serious bakers need. Best of all, most older Ankarsrum accessories are compatible with the new machine, and vice versa — so your investment lasts well beyond a single model.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. My parents gave me one as a wedding gift 34 years ago, and it was brilliant. It lasted me 18 years before I damaged the motor. I could not find a replacement here in Australia at the time. Last November I found this for a friend who was desperate to replace the one she has had for at least as long as I had my first one. After going through two stand mixers in seven years, this is such a pleasure to have. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a dough mixer. They outperform any stand mixer. Different process of operation, so very strong.
Strong recommand. Very good, easy clean ,quiet not noisy.
just bad delivery service leave it out of the house without signature and I have to rush back home. Shouldn’t leave such expansive product just out of the house like a bin
Really excellent product
This is my first experience with an Ankarsrum Mixer. So far I have used the dough roller and hook (small batch) and made cookie dough using the plastic bowl and cookie beaters. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. However, I think this machine will perform at its best with bigger batches. It certainly makes light work of kneading and creaming butter and sugar. This is a reasonably quiet and very stable machine. I highly recommend this machine AND Blackwood Lane for their customer service!
